Scott Brough

Based in Heretaunga/Hastings, Scott Brough is a ceramic artist playing with the tension between rough raw materials and a refined vessel. Inspired by the ancient pottery traditions of Asia and Europe, he experiments with clay bodies and a range of firing processes. His work is made to be held and lived with. Scott’s Four-Sided Bottle work won the Premier Award at the 2025 Portage Ceramic Awards.
