Janeen Page

Janeen Page makes hand-thrown domestic stoneware in her garden studio in Taranaki. Her work is a result of a deep study of the geology of her environment, using glazes made from volcanic debris, ash and iron sands north of Taranaki. Her work is fired to 1300 degrees in a gas kiln, an atmosphere that encourages the fusing and alchemy of natural materials.
